An Upsell and Cross-Sell plugin for WooCommerce Stores

What creates additional income for successful web stores?

The answer is simple, Cross-Selling and Up-Selling. A study conducted by McKinsey and Company states that cross-selling can increase sales by 20% and profits by 30%.

As your customers are already buying something from you, this also stands out as an excellent strategy. Using which you can directly pitch them related products.

Growanizer is one such WordPress plugin that helps your customers find more relatable products quickly based on dynamic rules that you set.

The plugin has three distinct features that work wonders for any online store that uses WooCommerce:

  • Related Products Module – Growanizer allows you to create dynamic blocks of related products across your store and set unlimited rules for them. This simplifies the process to a single usable interface in your WordPress dashboard, easy to maintain and modify.
  • Attributes Slider Module – The attributes slider module, helps your users filter products based on specific attributes like ‘Color,’ ‘Size,’ ‘Quantity,’ etc and place a module on any page by using shortcodes.
  • Product Finder Module – This lets you create interactive web-forms to help your customers narrow down on the products of their choice, by answering simple questions and place a module on any page by using shortcodes.

These features are designed to support any web store that sells using WooCommerce. It does not matter the volume of products that the store has; this plugin is armed to support small e-retailers and multi-branded online stores alike.

Features Explained

As mentioned earlier, the Growanizer plugin has three powerful features at its core. These features make the plugin extensive and easy to build on.

Let’s take a walk through the plugin to understand each feature and how it helps you convert more from your existing set of customers.

This feature provides you with the tools to create dynamic blocks of related products in your online store. This is essential when you have products that go hand-in-hand with the customers’ selections, and it also negates the redundancy for your customers to shop for those products separately.

Once you click on the ‘Related Products’ tab, you will see an interface to add new sections, once you click on this, you will be guided to the ‘Add Section’ module, where you set the following things:

The Attribute Sliders Module

The attribute sliders module helps you create dynamic product sliders automatically, based on the attributes provided by you. This is a handy technique of recommending related products to your shoppers and helping them browse products based on the attributes they are looking for.

For example, you can display a rich slider that displays footwear (assuming the attribute your shopper is looking out for is shoes/footwear).

Growanizer slider

To create interactive attribute sliders, you need to first create attributes for the products in your online store.

Growanizer- Add new attribute

To create an attribute, click on the Products tab in your WordPress dashboard and select ‘Attributes.’ Here, you can define a custom attribute that can be attached to a product in your store. Do not forget to click on the ‘Enable Archives’ checkbox to create product archives that can be used in the attribute sliders.

Now that you have created your first attribute, you can attach it to products in your online store and create filter identities for your products. This is necessary for the attribute sliders to work.

Assuming that the above checkpoints are done, we can create our first product slider by clicking on Attribute Slider >> Add New Slider. This opens up the interface to add a new product slider based on pre-decided attributes.

This module integrates the following settings to customize an attribute slider:

The Product Finder Module

The Growanizer WordPress plugin goes a step beyond other plugins to give you the tools to create interactive custom questionnaires to help your customers filter down to the product or category that they are looking for.

These questionnaires can use conditional logic to help shoppers select products based on specific attributes. Once the shopper selects certain attributes, the plugin will take them to a page that displays a selection of products based on the attributes specified in the step prior.

For example, you can help your customers narrow down to the perfect footwear they desire by displaying an interactive form like the one below.

Based on the options we chose above, the results page is displayed with the assorted selection of shoes.

Use responsive themes to showcase your products

Once you have your product’s story sorted, you will need to display them in an interactive and professional-looking theme on your website. These themes are essential to showcase your three modules related to products, attribute sliders, and product finders.

Growanizer allows you to skip creating a custom theme for the related products and the attribute sliders modules, and inherit the current WordPress theme you are using. This looks elegant too, as it blends into your website, inheriting all the responsive properties of the theme.

For the product finder module as well, you will need to set up a custom theme. The Growanizer WordPress plugin gives you two options:

  • Import a premade professional looking theme from the Growanizer database of theme templates
  • Create and customize your theme from the default theme

To create a custom theme from the default theme, you need to select Main Settings >> Product Finder Themes >> Create Your Own Theme From Default Theme.
